Sugar Snap, scientific name “Pisum sativum L.” – (Sugar Snap) is a type of vainacomestible that, unlike the pea China has thickened walls pods.

They can be eaten fresh or frozen. They have a good shelf life.

The Sugar Snap is a cross between the English and the Pea Pea China. Sweet peas are completely edible and are equally delicious raw or cooked. They are an excellent source of vitamin C.
